What does Air Liquide Engineering and Construction do?
We create and deliver production units around the world for Air Liquide and external customers. Our customers operate in diverse markets: industrial gas production, natural resource extraction, refinery, petrochemicals and metals processing. Our goal is to supply them with competitive solutions that are also safe and reliable so they can optimize their use of natural resources and produce clean, sustainable energy.
What are the pillars of your strategy?
We offer personalized solutions to the challenges faced by our customers by drawing on three strengths: a global skills network, patented technologies and long-term partnerships. Our active innovation policy enables us to continuously enhance our portfolio of proprietary technologies. Another competitive advantage is the combination of an international footprint (15 engineering centers and 3 manufacturing sites) with a strong local presence. This ensures we are always aligned with our customers’ needs.
In fact, Air Liquide just opened a new manufacturing center at Ras Al Khaimah, in the United Arab Emirates. What is the role of this new site?
It is the Group’s third manufacturing center. In technological and geographic terms, it complements the capacities of the centers we already operate in Vitry-Sur-Seine (France) and Hangzhou (China). Thus it reflects our aim to build closer ties with our markets. Going forward, we will be able to respond to that region’s growing demand for large-scale, high-quality cryogenic facilities.
